I can honestly say that of all the wonderful places I’ve lived, Portland, Maine is exactly where I want to be. The mix of physical beauty, friendly people, culture, and cuisine is unbelievably appealing to me. When I’m not enjoying everything that Portland offers — or at Scarborough Beach! — I am likely at home reading or cooking, or planning my next escape Downeast or to Quebec City.
I know you have a great many solid options when it comes to selecting a lawyer here in southern Maine. My hope is that you will see the value of having me in your corner. I’m a fighter by nature: tough, determined, intelligent, and driven to success. But I’m also a huge believer in seeking agreement whenever possible in order to save my clients stress and money. My bottom line is: results for you.
It would be my honor to represent you.

Having lived in Maine for 30 years, I’m very happy to finally be working and living in Portland. From Munjoy Hill, I can walk to work and find beautiful vistas, community, and great coffee on the way. I look forward to expanding my estate planning and probate practice in this growing city.
My goal is to make estate planning easy and gratifying for my clients. Many people put off estate planning, but I can tell you that it feels great to get it done. I enjoy building relationships with my clients, demystifying the process, and helping them plan for their futures.
My other specialties include probate and mediation services. I really enjoy assisting clients with the probate process. Whether clients need initial guidance or someone to handle all aspects of an estate, guardianship, or conservatorship, they often are overwhelmed and full of emotion and questions. I enjoy working with probate clients to solve their disputes outside of the courtroom.
I welcome the opportunity to work with you.

Growing up in Maine, I learned early on the values of a hard work ethic, adaptability to change, and the power of Northern hospitality. After having spent four years away in Montreal, Canada at McGill University, I was happy to return to the University of Maine Law School in 2007. It was there that I met my friend/boss/co-worker Joe — little did I know that I would join his practice a decade later!
Before I joined Port City Legal, I sharpened my law skills both by clerking for the presiding judge of the trial court in Somerset County, New Jersey and by working as a prosecutor there; practicing general law in Brunswick, Maine; and practicing corporate law and civil litigation in Western Massachusetts.
As a diversely experienced attorney, my ultimate goal is to set my clients up for success by giving them the knowledge, insight, and information needed to protect themselves and their interests. I look forward to normalizing the law and helping you understand any questions you may have in a relatable and personalized way.
It would be my pleasure to be your attorney.

With razor-sharp wit and a killer legal game, I represent my clients thoroughly, in and out of the court room. I will fight tooth and nail to get you the justice you deserve, without letting anyone push you around in the process. My goal is to provide my clients with the highest quality legal services, while also being empathetic to their unique situations. If you’re in need of a fearless, determined, and somewhat hilarious legal ally, look no further. I am committed to guiding my clients through the legal process with patience, care, and attention to detail while minimizing stress and conflict.
My legal education and experience have equipped me with the skills and knowledge necessary to handle complex family law cases, from contested divorces to complex property division disputes. I am also skilled in negotiations, able to represent clients in mediation, and have extensive experience in trial litigation. With my constant focus on client satisfaction, I believe that I provide compassionate, trustworthy, and experienced representation to all my clients.
Born and raised in Maine, there’s no place I’d rather be. When I’m not touting my legal expertise, you can find me on the hunt for the perfect slice of pizza, chasing sunsets, behind a camera lens, or floating on a body of water.
It would be a privilege to serve your interests.

Prior to my legal career, I've lived and worked in Portland, Oregon, New York City, and Washington, D.C. looking for a city that I wanted to settle in. Moving to Maine for law school was a big leap, but I'm so glad I've found my home. Portland, Maine is the quintessential small-town on the East Coast; the beautiful cobblestone streets, brick buildings, and delicious food make it a place I never want to leave.
During law school, I worked in several different legal fields learning what types of law I most enjoyed practicing and was best at. My focus quickly turned to Family Law and Estate Planning to fight for clients who needed help urgently to protect what matters most: their families. I enjoy working closely with my clients and helping them prepare for the future.
My goal as an attorney is to be a guide through your legal matter by helping you understand the process and help you make informed decisions with understandable legal expertise. I am skilled at fiercely advocating for my clients' interests, in and out of the courtroom. Whether you are looking for help simply finalizing an agreement or navigating complex legal questions, I can help advocate for your goals throughout your legal process.
I would be honored to advocate for your goals.
